Applications are invited from the recently retired Deputy librarian/ Librarian for the following post purely on contract basis for a period of six months which is extendable for further period as per requirement and suitability of the candidate.

Qualification & Experience:
Essential:
- Post Graduate Degree in Library Science with PH.D
- Recently retired from a College/ University Library as a Dy. Librarian/ Librarian
- Working knowledge in Open and Distance Learning system
Job Profile:
- Proper storage of books of SOL Library.
- Stock verification and weeding out old books.
- Purchase of book, payment of Bill etc.
- Development of e-library, Automation of SOL Library and implementation of KOHA.
- Advice and guide the incharge, Library SOL on various library related matters.
- Any other duties assigned by the Competent Authority during office hours.
Consultation Fee/ Remuneration:
- The consultation fee/ remuneration will be paid between Rs. 60,000-90,000/- depending on the qualification, experience and the suitability of the candidate for SOL library.
